Do you know what to expect from a lettings and management firm in terms of customer service? Does the firm you are dealing with have the necessary insurances in place to protect your money in the event that the firm experiences financial difficulties? Has your firm provided you with a written statement setting out details of the services they provide and their charges? Does the firm you are dealing with have a procedure in place for resolving complaints that includes independent redress? If the answer to all of the above is "No" then you should be using a firm which is accredited with NALS and which agrees to meet defined standards of customer service. |
